Root’s commitment and ties to the local community extend beyond their ownership group. Roots believes that true inclusion requires significant involvement at all levels of their operation and have signed a Labor Peace Agreement with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union to ensure their employees receive competitive compensation and are able to work in an environment that fosters personal and professional growth. Their commitment to the improvement of their local community is  emonstrated through Dr. Pettisani and Ms. Mazzone’s dental practices, including the placement of their practices in Urban Enterprise Zones, fostering economic development and providing access to previously underserved populations throughout New Jersey.

Roots has secured an agreement with Garden State Dispensary for the procurement of their initial inventory needs. Garden State Dispensary is a licensed Alternative Treatment Center and an active member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union
